Krista Leigh Steinke (Krista Steinke、クリスタ・レイ・スタインキー)
バージニア州で生まれ、テキサス州で育った。
ペンシルベニア州 (Pennsylvania) のフィラデルフィア (Philadelphia) 在住 (あるいは、同州東部にある都市、ベスレヘム (Bethlehem) 在住)。
写真、ビデオ、ミクストメディアでさくひんをせいさくしているアーティスト。
また、モラヴィアン大学 (Moravian College) で助教授を務めている。

インディアナ州 (Indiana) にあるバルパライソ大学 (Valparaiso University)で アドバンスドヒューマニティでBAを取得し、シカゴ美術館附属美術大学 (School of the Art Institute of Chicago) でBFAを取得、そしてメリーランド・インスティテュート・カレッジ・オブ・アート (The Maryland Institute, College of Art) では写真とデジタル映像でMFAを取得している。
